Our Impact
We are a grassroots non-profit, registered 501c3, with direct relationships with our projects in Ghana, Africa. Our sustainable farm is helping to create an empowered and sustainable community.
The Helpers Farm in Ghana, Africa is our sustainability model that:
1) grows nutritious organic produce
2) feeds school children
3) helps mothers to earn a living to care for their families
4) is a model teaching farm for educational partners to learn sustainable architecture best practices and collaborate
5) helps to fund our orphanage operating costs and care for 30+ orphans
6) helps to fund educational costs for disadvantaged youth who would otherwise be forced to work.
Education & School Feeding Program
In Ghana, it is common for school age children to be on the streets working, selling items either because they are orphaned or their families are poor. These kids need outside financial support in order to attend school. Since 2013, we have been providing funding for school fees, uniforms and books and health insurance to get kids off the streets and info schools. We aim to support over 120 children annually, that number will grow as we receive funds to expand the farm to generate more income.
